Fourth finish..

I enjoyed working on this Christmas Fun Block.


Have tacked my buttons on as I go so I don’t misplace them!! Now to trace the next one onto my linen.

Block 3

I have now finished block 3!  All the buttons will be put on after quilting I think!



Here they are on my Design Wall..... There is just enough room to place them together!

There seems to be quite abit of work in number 4!  But, I am keeping with my plan and doing them in order otherwise I will get slack!

I've Started!

This weekend I finally started my Christmas Fun quilt. 
 I decided to make the eight Ohio Star blocks first while I was feeling motivated. They were a bit fiddly but turned out ok. The fabrics are Glace by 3 Sisters ... I still have plenty of scraps in this range.

 I have prepared 3 of the blocks ready to stitch in the evenings ... Cookies,

 

 The Pudding and ...

 Christmas Cottage.

 

 Hopefully it won't be too long before I can share a finished block.

 

Block 2

Getting there slowly, block 2 is finished but I'm not sure that I like the spotty block with the green hearts on it so might have to change it later...... hmmmmmm will see.

 Hi Ladies!  I managed to put together block 2 yesterday before I headed out for the day!



I quite like the block!

So Razzy..... I'm one ahead of you!  lol

I think I have tallied your blocks up correctly in the side bar girls.  If they are not correct, please let us know and we will correct it.  Also, when you post pics of your completed blocks, can you please mention how many completed blocks you have done in the post so that Roseanne and Myself don't put you down twice.

Block 1

Just finished making my 8 Ohio Stars ready for when the stitchery blocks are completed.  Not a fan of the small pieced blocks I think!  Had trouble with some points!

 Though I am pretty happy with my fabrics....

And, managed to put together block 1!

Block three

While at a retreat by the Sea over the weekend I managed to finish the stitching on my third block.
On my return home I sewed all the peices together.

Sew now my third block is complete. Yeh!!!!

2nd Block done

sewn block 1 together

prepped my applique pieces

and while hubby watches the Eels and Broncos do battle

tonight, I will be happily stitching away watching the ABC :)
