First Block

I have managed to get my first block done.

I am really beginning to like the red and blue color combination.
To me it is having an antique feel with the cream backgrounds.

Anyone thinking about doing Lynette's next Button Club?

Hearts

Another couple small blocks for my Christmas Fun project! Going slowly, but surely! Need to get to the sewing machine and make them into blocks to get them crossed off!

Started ....

I put my FNSI (Friday Night Sew In) to get this one started.
I managed to purchase some FQ's this week
Not traditional but I liked them :)
Also not to sure about the 3rd and 4th one.
They might only make an appearance in the border.

Last night I set to preparing some of the applique blocks.

I'm off to Spotlight soon to get some co-ordinating thread
and then maybe some time doing a block tonight.

Enjoy your weekend, hugs, Sharon

Joining in on the fun

Hi Ladies,

I only purchased my pattern and buttons recently on Ebay so finding this blog is the "kick" I needed to actually get it started.

I went through my stash this afternoon and have cut my backing fabrics.

and am looking forward to going shopping this week for some other fabrics to make a start.

Looking forward to watching every one's progress.

hugs, Sharon

Wow this is so good

Firstly I have to confess that this block was done July last year and then I came to a big hault.

Thank you Sarah for starting this blog and getting me going again, I am looking forward to hanging it up this Christmas.

Now to get block 2 started.
What a great idea you and Roseanne had, it always seems easier to do things together.

Block One Done

This is my first block done I am very happy with it. I think having a blog is going to help us get it done . Thanks for the blog Sarah.
